Spitritual guidance

I have read a few posts over varying websites where prayer played a major role in helping with their porn addiction. I myself have thought a few time about stopping at a church and speaking with a pastor.

 

What do you mean by spiritual guidance? That sounds like a very general and open term. I mean people consider 12 Step programs a spiritual program and there is guidance of a sort, but that's different from traditional Christianity, not to mention other stuff like Buddhism whether someone just casually meditates and stuff or whatever. There's a lot that can fit under that umbrella.

 

Well there's a lot, most would probably not be seen as directly relevant to NoFap but the Taoist practice of microcosmic orbit has been touched on. I'll let anyone interested research it but it does involve refraining from MO (and they probably don't recommend porn) and from what I heard once there's actually a period of 100 days and I think being vegetarian. The time period is interesting as it's close to the 90days recommended for reboot, although back in the old days people probably didn't start out depleted with high speed porn induced megafapping..
