Haven't ever masturbated but I have wet dreams

So I haven't ever fapped, but I looked at pornographic images between the ages of 12 and 16. I suspect this to be the reason behind my wet dreams. In my erotic dreams, I objectify women before ejaculating. I am interested in learning how I can end them as I know they're bad for my health. I experience the superpowers and endless happiness that's talked about with abstinence until I experience a wet dream. And I experience them incredibly often -- most of the time, I go for weeks without wet dreams before having 2-4 straight days of wet dreams. Has anybody found methods for ending wet dreams?

They aren't bad for your health.
Abstinence from PMO we are talking about (Porn, MAsturbating, Orgasm
Either Plug your penis with a cork or something big
Or say before you go to bed that you dont want a wet dream it increases the chance of NOT having a wet dream but you can still have one
    Or castrate yourself.

Verbally telling yourself "don't have a wet dream." before you go to bed may help.

  4. It might be a factor. Hard to tell. Wet dreams are just a natural body's way how to keep itself healthy when you are not having sex. Kinda like back up health maintenance system. Just threat it as a bodily function, like going to toilet. That's all it really is. All tho you watching porn might be what is causing them to be more frequent.
    No.
I don't think you can practice abstinence from wet dreams. Because it is not something you indulge in intentionally and probably not something you can fully control either. Especially not at age of 18 when your hormones are quite high. It might be possible in later years tho.

I appreciate this advice but I'm going to disagree that wet dreams aren't bad for my health. Last week I had 4 days in a row of wet dreams and then another this week and ended up going through the typical symptoms of PMO. Insomnia, lack of energy, feeling uncomfortable, having weakness, etc. Like I said, my wet dreams resemble pornography so I feel like there's something to overcome here.

Hi Grit, one possible technique that might help is taking cold showers before going to bed. Can't say if this will stop them completely but they might just cut back on the frequency of your WDs. Also start practicing the Microcosmic Orbit which will teach you how to circulate your sexual energy. Hope this helps. Peace out!

Hey this helps beyond words :)
I'll start doing the cold showers before bed. I also wanted to see about using meditation as a method of influencing my will to prevent wet dreams, though I haven't had a direction to take it in beyond focusing on breath. So you making me aware of microcosmic orbit helps me a lot as I now have a direction to take this in. Thank you!

Stop fantasizing and looking at erotic material. I have definitely noticed a correlation between looking at erotic material and wet dreams

  10. Sleep on your back, don't fantasise whatsoever, and meditate regularly

I must say that I'm intrigued with your discipline to look at porn but never masturbate. I'm no expert, but I'm willing to bet you're a rare case. A nocturnal emission (wet dream) is the body's way of regulating itself, so it is actually the furthest thing from destructive you can do sexually. But I'd be surprised if anyone has ever heard of someone who has sporadic bursts of of consecutive "wet dream" nights. You might want to get the opinion of a professional (counselor/therapist/doctor) if this is becoming a concern for you.

Yup..I have the solution for you. There is a 'yoga' which worked wonders for me. I will try to find on YouTube and share with you. Give me some time.

Well bear in mind I'm now 18 so I've stopped watching porn 2 years ago. The main reason I never fapped was because the idea seemed repulsive to me. I have rough coarse hands from years of physical work and the idea of using my hands for stimulation seemed painful. In fact I had no motivation for viewing porn. I was told it was healthy and I knew that my peers did it so I looked at images when it felt appropriate.

Despite having avoided pornography, I'm still exposed to erotic content, because of movies, video games, accidentally finding pornographic images online, etc. I'm also around people who discuss sex endlessly. So I'm curious if this exposure is a reason behind my wet dreams.

Hi! Semen is the greatest wealth, and losing it makes a man weak.i would like to say im glad to meet someone who has never fapped. That said, wet dreams are being caused from viewing pornographic images.i had experiences with them in the past but now im fine.its about cleansing the brain.i would suggest two things.
1)pray before bed or as other are saying.
2)meditation,yoga help.even 15 minutes of meditation a day is enough to get going.
3)find a creative activity ud like to do,reading, writing, music etc.sexual sublimation is defined as using ur sexual forces for creative purposes.
I have had wet dreams after i got away from porn, even while i was on it.i have overcome it to an extent so its not natural,we were not made to experience wet dreams while growing up.Its a modern phenomena. Give it some time, abstain from any king of sexual material on the internet.it will subside.
Also, wet dreams are mere release of sexual tension so its not as harmfull as fapping.so dont worry its alright .we only reap what we saw.cheers!

I'll check it out, thanks! I really appreciate it :)
Hey I'm really glad to find someone who shares this perspective. As I said before, my wet dreams resemble pornography though I recently noticed a change where women start to object to my pornlike behavior. Like last night in a dream I started groping someone and she treated me disdainfully before I woke up. It feels like my brain is starting to rewire.

I will start focusing on creative behaviors. It's interesting to me how you point out the connection with sexual sublimation. For a long time I've been interested in many creative fields and I am looking forward to investiging in them.

As for praying, can you clarify what would be involved? Bear in mind I don't have experience with religion so I wouldn't know how to direct prayer towards an entity.

Brain will rewire.Just stay strict to your idiologies.Especially internet articles are deceptive.
Creative activities draw ur vital energy to the brain same way meditation does.
For praying, just close your eyes before sleeping, remembering the god presence within you,and repeat a statement for a couple to five minutes.basically,if this is too deep for you i was just reffering to saying what other guys on this forum were guiding you to say before sleep. Thanks!
