So I went through 7 days, I had some struggle going past day 4, finally made it after seeting up some webfilters as well as turning off picture loading on my browser.

The last 3 days were amazing, I felt like Hercules, so much energy, so much motivation, I´ve been happy and smiling and had no actual reason for that, I also did write some extremely amazing piece of music and been super creative and productive.

Now on day 7 I felt really tired, I had 7 1/2 hours sleep as usually, did my rowing warmup like every morning, after that I feel awaken and energized, but now after work I just really feel tired and start to become super aggressive, messages on facebook from people that want me to like this, and give them that, doing a favor there etc. really break the roof.

Sometimes I had that feeling of hope and excitement during the day cause I know I can and I will have these 3 days of pure energy and creativity again.

Is this one of those days that we call "flatlines" ?

Strangewhise, since I did get past day 4, I have no urges at all, don´t even give a damn about porn etc. I am watching some series where people have sex here and there but there is no reaction at all.

Did you experience the same "aggression" for no reason at all during your reboot?

    Hey @Steve Sancteria !
Your aggression isn't part of a reboot. Actually, people who reboot become more calm and self-confident on their way. Since you mentioned your job, I'd say that this is the root of your aggression. I recommend you trying these two things:
    1. After coming back from your job try to take some nap if possible => Remember to take a nap which lasts 20-90 minutes! It's scientifically proven that only these naps help. If you don't have a lot of time when you come home try to take the 20 minute one, if you have, set your alarm for 90 minutes and enjoy your nap. This may help you a lot.
    2. If you have no time when you come home, just try to take a few deep breaths. Count to 15 and just breath when you'll feel aggressive. After a few days/weeks you'll be able to hold your aggression and everything should become better.

Hope this helps! Give it a try for at least a week or two and if that doesn't help look for some other advices. Have a nice day!

I may not know if aggression is a part of reboot but I do know that your knowledge of your aggressiveness will sure help you. Most people don't understand that they are being aggressive.

  4. Yes it can be a part of the reboot if you hit withdrawal. Avoid all stimulants, sugar, cafeine!

  5. I am extremely annoyed, no aggression yet. These are withdrawal symptoms, I caught myself saying in my head "Just fap and go lay down on bed and relax".

15 years of fapping and habit just doesn't disappear in a few months, give it time.

Withdrawal absolutely CAN bring out aggression!

    Not after 7 days!

Irritability / anger is definitely part of withdrawal

  8. I'm experiencing some aggression. It's mainly because of something unrelated to NoFap, but doing NoFap is amplifying the aggression. I reckon if I fapped then a lot of the aggression would morph into depression.

I have had days during my reboots where I felt like a fucking madman behind the wheel.

  10. And right now I feel drained, tired, and fever like...

thanks a lot for your feedback, it feels way better if I can blame NoFap for that instead of something else, cause I did establish a way calmer mindset over the last 2 years and I really feel under control most of the time, but at this day I´ve been like on fire, everything was pissing me off, 1 day after, everything seems ok, even the urges came back, I´ve been missing them...xD

It´s really cool tho how you stay more motivated once you´ve come across day 7, cause when you relapse now, you have to spend 1 week until you are back again on your streak.
Meditating seems to be the golden tool to avoid aggression in the future, I´ll put it on my habit list :)

I haven't experienced it, but I can understand how it could come out.
Anger comes out when we feel our goals are blocked, and a twisted thinking could lead to thinking that NoFap is blocking our sexual satisfaction. Through that anger, a person could demonstrate agression.
A good rethinking should help see that it was the PMO was the problem, and I did it to myself. Now, with help from NoFap, I can get on with healing peacefully.
