Im 23 days into NoFap, can I do kegel excercises?

People say that kegel help in ED, because it helps blood circulation in the penis.

To begin with, you might want to limit them to ones you could do in a public setting and stay in public while you do them. When you see how your body is reacting, and how you are coping with any urges you could move on cautiously.
Kegels could help some with your recovery process, but your problem did not begin with weak muscles. The big problem was PMO, and you do not want to do anything that could take you back there.

You are right, but pelvic floor muscles are the ones that control our penis and erections,
so if i do kegel excercises, so i will have stronger and prolonged erections?

That is something that they claim. They do not claim that it will cure a PIED condition.

I think it's something you can do later on in your reboot if you're having PE issues, but not something to focus on when you're starting out. There is a lot of withdrawal from P and M to get sorted out, so it's not recommended to have your mind on any of this in the beginning. You need to just get away from all of it.

About 60 days into my reboot, I had absolutely no urges to view porn nor do I expect to watch it ever again. But I'm still having trouble with PE with my wife after all this time. And that's the other thing, having a reason to do kegels. If you're into a reboot with a partner, you may feel the need to work on your performance issues when you're closer to 90 or more days of your reboot. But it makes no sense to focus on this stuff if you're not doing it to enhance a current relationship. Anyway, I have started looking into doing reverse kegels for when I'm past 90 days and looking to refine my skills.

@HappyDaysAreHereAgain is right, though. This isn't going to help with true PIED.

Hey bro I have been doing kegels, and i had this erection which typically last for 15 seconds,
but now my erections are lasting like 1-2 minutes, although the erections are not stronger than before but the duration of erection have increased.
I think im gona continue with kegels

Yeah I realize you're going to do what you want. I'm just giving advice. And that's that you're too concerned about these issues too early in your reboot. Nevertheless, I hope it works out for you and wish you the best of luck.

Bruh u are more experienced ofcoz,
And I read about reverse kegels, its nice to know about reverse kegels just in case u need them,
i know first I should focus on getting my nerves healed, my brain reboot, etc but what harm it does if i make my pelvic floor strong? ;)

Honestly, I won't go to great lengths to try and convince you to stop doing exercises of any kind. As long as you're doing them properly and not trying to avoid the main problem. I've read on YBOP about people who have overworked their pelvic floor muscles and made things worse by doing PC exercises when they should've just given everything a rest and time to heal. That's the only reason I felt the need to step in and give advice.

You're commited to improving yourself and that's great. I've just grown wary of situations where people add alternative fixes without giving the best fix time to work.

Glad to hear about your improvement. Some could be from the increased muscle tone, and some could come from ED issues fading during reboot. A complete reboot needs some time without erections. Trying to bypass flatline will not help your healing.
Please do not get sidetracked from your rebooting. The joy of complete healing will not be measured in minutes.
Stay strong, enjoy your progress, relax, and allow deep healing to happen naturally.

I am personally doing a kegel/reverse kegel routine. It hasn't really hindered me and i see it as investment, once i am able to maintain a solid erection and last long nofap will be much easier since i can have sex with a girl. I think it depends on how weak you're pelvic floor is though. I spent all of my time fapping either sitting or laying down whereas real sex you would be kneeling or standing, thus my pelvic floor is weak and i need to strengthen it.

I have also been unsure of adding kegels as a daily routine in the NoFap process. I had two longer streaks earlier in the year but did not try out kegels. I am now on day 15 PMO free and this is the fourth day that I have added kegel workouts 2-3 times per day. I don't have any urges as I am in the middle of a flatline period. I have heard that results don't begin to be noticeable for several weeks so I am keeping at it while I have no urges.

So I'm interested to get your guys advice on this! I have a problem with PE, big time actually. I've read about kegels/reverse kegels in trying to prolong ejaculation. But I find it's actually the tensing of the penis that increases the heightened emotion therefore making me cum quicker. What is it you are meant to do for example during intercourse, tense them when you first feel it, or at the last moment like the last line of defence as you will :)
