Keep in mind, this stuff isn't linear or meant to be precision down to the number of days. There are lots of variable factors involved, a big one being how badly you are/were addicted and how long you've been partaking of high speed internet porn. An older guy that started late in life viewing the high speed net porn may recover faster than the younger guy who's been viewing high speed net porn starting at a very young age.

So something like a 90 day hard mode of no pmo may work for a guy with a less severe case of PIED addiction, but another guy who is in a worse condition may take a lot longer, lets say double that at 180 days or even longer.

Bottom-line is that porn is a horrible addiction with horrific consequences and any sane person would avoid it like the plague.

I know that, but honestly it just doesn't seem like I match anything on that list. Another thing is, there's no indicator of the terrible flatline symptoms, such as our buddy ghost rider.

That's just one site probably not the best; I recommend reading up on Gary Wilson's site yourbrainonporn.com.

I have that site marked. Everyone who did a reboot mood measure stops at 45 ish days. I don't get that.

When I did my 96 day streak, there were waves where I felt that I was in a flatline, but then I would also get ambushed by urges; but I am probably not the best person to compare to because thankfully I was not hooked on internet porn at all thank God.

I read you used to fap 4-5 times a day for 10 years man you are severly addicted and you will take time to heal.
You noticed the flatline at around 6 weeks which is very normal so you are lucky that you are recovering normally even though you are severly addicted.
Your flatline will become better around 8 weeks (around day 60). Best of luck, keep exercising, cold showers etc.
Dont give in you have given 39 days of your life for this, just 2 more weeks and you will begin to get well, just hang in there brother we all are suffering .
Your addiction is severe but your recovery timing is pretty normal (although your withdrawl symptoms are quite heavy) but still you hit flatline around 6 weeks which is normal so i would say you are lucky because you are recovering normally even after being addicted so much. Hang in there, all the symptoms you experience are all process of recovery and it means you are healing and your brain is re-wiring. Just don't lost hope.

I think what you need is nadi shodhana alternate nostril breathing.
Sounds like you are having an imbalance of your autonomic nervous system. This exercise will help to balance your parasympathetic and sympathetic branches.
It will also help transmute the energies, dampening much of the urges to fap by diminishing external sensory imput.
Was a game changer to me.
You are probably stuck in sympathetic mode which is "fight or flight", and caused by stress and the extra energy in your body that you aren't used to.
Nadi shodhana will balance your Autonomic nervous system branches and help to remove impurities over time. Practice several times a day and try to relax as much as possible.
Also, start doing something to burn off some of the extra energy like running.

Are you there bro? my story is the same, I was stuck in fight or flight mode, My withdrawal is even more severe than you, I started feeling better on Day 73 but unfortunately I relapsed, I had worst time of life, mainly worried about my heart palpitations but I got checked by the cardiologist which I was fine. Now on second reboot on Day 43 feeling slightly better and palpitation are less but I am worried if I have done some damage to my heart although its fine. I think I have develope some anxiety due to this and I never had this before Nofap. Have you got some comfort?

    Hey, man.
If it helps at all, just know you're not alone in having experienced horrible episodes. I've had SEVERE withdrawal symptoms myself. Still getting them, on my 6th week of abstinence from PMO, though milder. I ended up in the emergency room twice. I was sure I was dying. To this day I have symptoms so weird and painful that I still don't know for sure I don't have a serious diseade!
I hope it gets better in time, for you and me.
    Hang in there, man.

I've been having strong withdrawal episodes too. I wish I knew how to help, but just know you're not alone. The battle was never going to be easy, but surely worth it.

Drink some green juice. Try Joes Mean Green juice. Kale, green apples, cucumber, a little ginger, lemon, celery. It will give you lots of energy and will clear up your mind. Drink it in the morning.

I had the same withdrawal symptoms of a heroin addict going cold turkey. Porm stimulates the same dopamine receptors than opiates so is serious stuff. And i was an addict for 26 years. Was brutal symptoms. Shaking and sweating at the same time, bright yellow diarrhoea every 30 minutes or more (whilst i'm being sick), headaches, insomnia, depression. You feel so fragile you feel as if you'd shatter at any moment.

I read the opiate withdrawal survival guide and listened to stories of drug addicts and certain tips. I just then had to ride it out for the period of time it was happening. But it does dissipate.

A few tips i used to help: change bedding every day (even if you're not sweating etc) so you feel fresh, hot hot showers/baths (i'm aware can be triggering for some Fapstronauts, but during the withdrawal stages really helped me), soup and dry bread, fizzy drinks, vitamins, Imodium and then don't stimulate your brain too much. Watch easy going comfort shows/films (Friends/Simpsons etc). Listening to mellow music (classical, Northern Soul/Motown) You need to comfort yourself under the duvet, like it's a terrible flu (which it is...)

I am on day 60. No withdrawals unlike the first 2 times that I relapsed. Now I am feeling a little bit on a shorter fuse... meaning I get angry a little bit or mainly things that never got me upset now they do. Occasional depression states of a couple of minutes. Loliness. However, I get out of them quickly. Being mainly that I have a wife and two kids that keep me going. It is short burts of upseys and deptession states. I would say 5 to 10 minutes once or twice a day. Never been a depressed or angry person. I do assume it is because there is no manscaping... Keep things going. We will get out of this soon.
