Seeing things with clarity is not always easy. Some things are easy to see and some things are difficult. Really seeing weaknesses can be a tough thing after being asleep for decades.

But it gives you a baseline to start from. Therein lies the hope for change. Real change starts with clarity and honesty.

Hit 341 today. Grateful.

One of the greatest gifts of no PMO is a renewed sense of integrity. I used to feel like a terrible person. Now, people can look into me and I have nothing to hide. I am proud of the man that I am finally becoming .

I thought that I knew myself when I began this in May of last year - that I was aware of my strengths and weaknesses . But I was blind.

The first 90 was an eye opener. As I progress, I see more and more.

I felt inferior to a lot of people and superior to others. Pornography gave me the illusion of connection. I felt like a thousand beautiful women were connecting with me.

In NO PMO mode, I am learning to stop, slow my brain down, and look at my life. My focus is much more interior now, and I focus on being a man of virtue and integrity. I am affirmed by living out a virtuous life for God and humanity.

This has set me free to be a man of faith, integrity, and virtue to those around me. I'm not chained down anymore, I'm free.

DO NOT QUIT!! I am fueled by curiosity - to see more of what I have missed in my life because of an addiction to PMO. I see more every day.

Remember that this is not impossible to kick. You've got to be committed to get free. If I can do this you can do this. I did not think it would work, but I am living proof that it can happen.

If you relapse over and over, there's a piece of the puzzle that you're missing. Something that you're doing or not doing, some belief deep within about the process that is being overlooked. Don't give up and don't give in! Find the root and knock it out. I struggled with this stuff for years, and I now know freedom from PMO.

Taking what is yours is key. I believe that God's plan has been to give you that freedom as a gift, and at the same time to give you the strength to go for it.

What helped me was going into GOD MODE. I had many moments in past decades where I resolved to kick this thing by my own strength, even as I believed in God. But leaning on God by spending an hour a day in prayer has made all the difference. During that time I read, journal, converse...it goes by quickly. But I know that God's power has reordered my brain. I have a self control that can knock down these temptations like never before. I am amazed every day.

I used to go 5 days max and relapse. Longest streak was 3.5 months when I was 19, but I did not do it well. Did a couple of 30 days and a 2 month.

But I would never have thought that I would come close to a year and be comfortable. I still get tempted daily, but each temptation, (by way of analogy) is no longer a 200 foot wave. I see them for what they are - 5 foot waves - and I get out of their way and leave that section of the beach.

I had a dream / (bad dream) that I relapsed with masturbation. This is the 3rd time that I had a relapse dream in the last 11 months. The dream was very real - woke up thinking, for about 5 minutes, that I had lost progress, then remembered the circumstances in the dream that were not reality - and then I was back to reality. Like before, there was no O.

I wanted to post this to get it out of my brain. Dreams do not involve my free will, but I am still bothered by them.

I have had a great couple of days. With greater clarity, able to see myself with my strengths and weaknesses, I am connecting with people around me on an even deeper level. I feel renewed with a deeper self respect; less feelings of inferiority and able to realize that everybody struggles with weaknesses and self respect.

It's posts like these that Keep us strong. Keep us going for the long haul.
Sometimes we get a streak and the light shines through just a bit and we think....Is this it?
We're convinced and we get comfortable and eventually relapse.
I know there's more and what you've described is what I've hoped to see. I know there's more...
Trying to become the best version of myself(ourselves) means getting rid of this demon that holding me(us) back from so much.
So much life to live, much more fun to have, many more people to invite into my life and learn about and enjoy the company of.
I know there's more and this tells me I've only felt the light that was coming through the keyhole. I was getting close to the door but I never reached it.

Wow man, 347 days PMO-Free!
I can't go further than a week. Last night I relapsed and I didn't have much motivation. But you inspired me so much! I can't wait to see myself reaching over a year. But for now, my goal is 1 week.
