As I revealed on my previous post I relapsed this morning after 41 days without PMO. I felt bad but now I'm moving on and trying to focus again on my goal.

As I failed because I used my phone to search for P as an excuse that I couldn't use my laptop because it had the K9 blocker, I would like to put a similar blocker on my phone too.

But, before doing it I need to ask you something: do you actually recommend to use those tools or should I instead remove them and work on my self-control skills by my own?

Hello my friend...first of all relapsing after 41 days of noPMO is not that bad ther is people like me who r struggling just to complet 4 or 5 days .. for me i think relapsing after that period of time is like a dust on your white clothes .. is not a big problem but u should not leave it like that either .. so u should hold your self more to clean your mind from what did u see and feel while relapsing...and don't tink that u back to zero point , because your not, and your not in day1, you r in day 42 with 1 relapse! and never forget that someday you reached 41 days without PMO.About softwares, i just installed k9 yesterday and i did think about an android blocker but i don't belive there is any app strong and barely impossible to remove like k9 .. but even that removing k9 is not a good idea, actually i think is just your mind fooling u to make a step backward and also because of the bad feeling you felt from relapsing..because whatching P on a big screen on your laptop is more enjoyable for the brain..and that's mean more hard work to reclean your brain again, in compare to relapse using your phone..so just keep the k9,and who knows maybe you wouldn't complet that 41 days if ther was no P blocker on your laptop!..about rlying on yourself,i think is better to have k9,k9 is like strong person who is holding your back from falling, but at the same time you need to rely on yourself to step forward!..keep going and which you the best.

Thanks. I really appreciate your support. I'll follow your advice, and I won't remove the K9 from my computer. But, by now I have to search for a P blocker for my cellphone. I really need it there!

    Use openDns for mobile.
    208.67.222.123 - first code
    208.67.220.123 - second code

Go to settings on your phone and click on wifi, then enter advanced options and insert these codes. I've had them for months and they block porn completely but longterm this does not work. Diz the link: https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/220036027-Filter-porn
    Good luck m8

No, the think with porn blockers is that they only help in some occasions, a porn addict will find any way to access p and he will easily bypass the blocker. They have helped me a lot during times but at the end of the day it's all about will power, Solid discipline and perseverance but i'd advice installing a p blocker like openDns so that p is not accessible during small temptations. Good luck brahs

I still haven't managed to make it work. Somehow it doesn't let me save the changes...

    Hey guys.
I cannot speak for anyone else, and am no expert by any means. But I can tell you in my experiences that a P blocker for my cell phone is crucial. I just had to be honest with myself I knowing that there would be moments of weakness that last thing I need is for my mind to know that P is just in reach. Because it would find a way to justify PM somehow, that's why I am here. i use Net Nanny, my wife has the password so i am monitored. Also installed a app lock to throw in google search, you tube, anything else that i was able to pull up P in the past. Like someone mentioned before you will find a way around it, you know those ways or at least i did in my case. After a relapse i felt so bad i threw every avenue that i knew into the app lock. My logic is i need to reboot in order to lift this fog, thise shit judgement that i have adopted and morphed into working for what i wanted. once i feel i am fully "Rebooted" then i will think about testing my willpower. But right now my willpower is what landed me here and almost lost the only things i love.

This is what I do with my tablet, and assuming that it will work with a phone: Spin browser + a good app lock. If you're willing to go to extremes first download anything you think you may need from the play store. Install the Spin browser. Lock out the play store, any non spin browsers that you can't uninstall, and finally settings. Be sure to test this setup for a day or two before forgetting the password/pattern. While likely to cause you inconveniences, it will be pretty air tight.

    Hi guys,

The problem with installing app blockers is that I can just go to the guest account or create another user account in android. Porn blockers installed in the main user profile are not affecting anything in the guest account. Please help me !!

This is what I did to completely block porn in my phone
    1. Rooted my phone (search on google "how to root *phone model*)
    2. Installed a free app " PornAway" in my app
    3. Opened the app, enabled filter from the app
    4. Rebooted phone
    5. Uninstalled Pornaway
Even if you remove the app from phone, porn will still be blocked.
Experimental: you can unroot your phone after uninstalling pornaway. I haven't tried it. I like using a rooted phone.
