Now that it is confirmed that the U.S. will not be cooperating with Europe as much, China is planning to invest massive amounts of money to develop renewable energy technology and work more with Europe.

The renewable energy industry will be big towards the middle of the century and China is planning on being ahead of the game.

Maybe the U.S. will catch up but the problem with America is that it is too politically divided and unstable with their actions and they are losing their world credibility with the never ending military interventions as well.

While China does have their flaws, I applaud them overall.

Yes. When I have traveled abroad, I have heard anti American comments.

I've even seen an anti American protest in Japan to have the military removed from Okinawa. Although I'm not sure if I agree.

According to a world poll, the country that is a threat to world peace was USA.

I still support America though. I have bought many made in USA items and will pay the extra price to help the economy.

China wants to build everyone nuclear power plants.

From experience everything with a "made in China" stamp is shockingly bad.

So I'm a little worried about if they made countries nuclear power plants.

Plus what if it's like a Trojan horse move. They may want world dominance so they make the power plants and then make them all melt down at once. Just a wild theory.

Now we need to exit the UN.

I agree with the argument that the US shouldn't feel obligated to make economic concessions just because it's in first place. The U.S. is already halfway to meeting it's 2025 Paris Accord goals, and businesses are changing their infrastructure and planning ahead to reduce emissions as a part of their own strategy as green energy becomes more feasible over time. The U.S. backing out means for the most part that the U.S. won't be paying subsidies to poorer countries for reducing emissions.

The world is becoming more socialist. We will need to share our resources more and more and reduce how much we consume. The popuation is only increasing and our resources are dwindling. If we cling on to the model of capitalism that currently exists in the US it will just end in war. Capitalism is becoming more and more criticised and people are beginning to realise that excessive consumerism is going to end civilisation. The rest of the world wants the kind of change that the US isnt ready to make. The thing is by not going with this change the US is going to be left behind by the rest of the world. However its almost like they are preparing for this by Trump increasing an already excessive military budget. Instead of making a positive difference and opting for cooperation they are just preparing for domination
