Unhealthy if you don't cum?

Hey what's up guys, hope you are having a great day!

I was watching a video on YouTube about a guy who is also part of the NoFap community and he was saying that when he is having sex he basically refuses to come.

Now I want to know, is this healthy if you do it for a long time?

Sometimes when I would go on "Porn-watch-marathon" and jerked off, it could take an hour or sometimes even longer until I came.

I was bringing myself to the "point of no return" and always stopped right before it was to late.

After I had done it several times I would feel pressure in my balls and when I did it for a long time that pressure would turn into pain.

The pain wasn't unbearable but it was definitely uncomfortable. After I came, the pain would feel less painful but you could still feel discomfort.

To be fair, it is probably normal to feel discomfort after you have jerked off for over an hour :D

If you have Sex and don't come you will go through a kind of similar thing.

If you do this for a year or even more how will that effect your body?

Will the semen get absorbed by the body after a while or will it stay in a place where it could result in some kind of infection or something like that.

When you jerk off and just cum immediately when you're ready, you will "shoot" less semen compared to doing the "the point of no return" thing for a few times and then come.

That means that the semen is probably moving somewhere in something like a "in-between zone" where it stays until it is released through orgasm. Now the question is where does it go if you don't shoot it out?

You could argue that people who have sex this way never let themselves come close to "the point of no return", which I personally find hard to believe but it might be possble but then again, I'm not sure if just the act of jerking off/having sex is not enough to move the sperm.

Would be great if someone who has first-hand experience with this kind of thing could share his thoughts with us.

PS: I hope this is the right place for a post like this. I'm new here so hopefully some friendly Admin can move it to the right place in case I'm wrong

    Thank you

Sperm can sometimes leave your body when urinating if there is a 'pile up'. Semen is also released in wet dreams. Your body will try to rid itself of the useless dead sperm cells in order to replace them with newer, healthy ones, in order to increase your chances of impregnating a mate. The mechanisms of millenia of natural and sexual selection.

First of all thanks a lot for the reply.

Do you know any good sources (Books, Websites) where I can read further into this topic?

semen retention is a cult. Its true that when you don't ejaculate you become more confident and have more testosteron wich causes you get noticed more by girls.

However having sex and cumming when you are inside someone give you extra hormons and feelings of pleasure wich causes you to become more happy and happy.

Olso its kind of unrespectfull to you're partner you give her the idea you can't cum because of her. Woman want that you cum thats why they wear hot cloths... But most importantly woman get a special hormon wich causes them to fall in love with you if you cum inside her..

Thanks for sharing your thoughts kingpietro.

I've heard of the benefits you mentioned but all of them are more or less opinions.

If you cum inside of her you will feel great but how long does that feeling last?
Is that feeling worth losing energy that might benefit you in the long run?

Especially as you get older and need more recovery time every time you cum.

I've also heard that when you come inside her that some kind of hormone will be released that makes her more attached to you but I've also heard that when she is on her pill and you cum inside of her it can cause some kind of infection for some reason.

Like I said, when you look at this topic you have a lot of opinion based information, I'm looking for something more factual or for people who actually have done this (Sex without cuming) for a longer period of time and are willing to share their experiences with us.

  7. My SO and I have been experimenting with this since beginning of June. The 1st round he made it almost 30d then I told him to O. I still O bc he wants me to. Before his O he seemed to have more energy. Our sessions would last a very long time and the quantity of our sex life more than doubled. After his O (a few times) his got more tired and the frequency def dwindled. He needed more time to recover from his O before wanting to be intimate again. He also said it didn't feel as good as he expected it to.
We are back to a 30d run. He has more energy again but doesn't seem quite as much as 1st time. Frequency is still up but I'd say a little less than round one.
He does come close several times in a session but slows or stops so he doesn't O. He hasn't gotten sore either. Not sure if this helps.

Also yes I like to know I can make him O but Since I know what our goal is and I like the increase in activity I am 100% ok w him not finishing. I think the increased activity makes me feel more "in love" w him than if he were to finish in me. I think that (if a man cums in you theory) is a myth.

  9. Yea ok, keep telling that to yourself.

From my personal experience, at day 7 you feel great, it goes back down for the week after, but it builds more and more in time. If I don't cum, while having sex often, I feel like a beast 24/7. If I cum more than once a month, I start feeling average and beta.

If you want to ejaculate more often do it, but there are definitely benefits for holding it in over the long term. Whoever says otherwise, just try it and see.

I'm not telling myself anything - I'm going off of scientific studies which do show what I say to be true. If anything it seems that many people on this forum like to tell themselves things with no proof at all.

  11. You're going off a scientific study that MIGHT show correlation, not causation. I am speaking from what I felt inside myself after years of chronic masturbation and then long periods of semen retention, and I prefer how I feel on the latter.

Everyone is free to choose whatever they prefer, so if you want to come every 7 days, great for you. However, this scientific study has become a myth and is often used by those that are either too weak to hold it in or just like to say it because they read about it on the internet, so I am against quoting that.

What proof do you have that it's a myth? There seem to be multiple large studies that show almost exactly the same result. I'm not too weak to hold it in, I've held it in for a couple of months in the past to see what the effects were for myself and I didn't notice much of a difference apart from a decrease in sex drive. I'd just rather go with what's proven than what seems to often be exaggerated anecdotal evidence.

Okay, I'm not against cumming inside a woman.

  17. Cool my man. If it doesn't make a difference for you, don't do it. For me it does, the longer I hold it in, the more I feel like Tyson :D

And here I am thinking that prostate cancer is only an issue for older men. Guess it just gives guys an excuse to fap.

  19. I wouldn't be surprised if that study was contracted by the porn industry, and I am usually against conspiracies.
