    Metal and relapses.

    Guys I want to discuss how certain bands and genres play a part of relapses for me. Well they were playing a big part for a couple years.

    I would always get into the most extreme and negative metal in terms of vibe and meaning of lyrics.

    Bands played during a relapse with very negative song meanings:
    1. Behemoth
    2. Meshuggah (used to listen to them while I was clean but then started reading their lyrics and realized it actually led me back into PMO over a year or so, really dark juju guys be warned)
    3. Rob Zombie & Scum of the Earth
    4. Extreme death metal with horrifying vibes

    Just a heads up that we turn into what we listen to.

    Never though about it, english is not my main language so maybe that numbs it out, i use music as a background track to go through the day, so i fade away and dont pay too much attention to the lyrics.

    Now some hiphop and especially brazilian funk pisses me off, literally porn for the ears.
