Letting go and letting God
This is a difficult concept to understand and something that as a man, seems even more challenging. Men like to be in control of their environments and things that occur in their lives. And letting go of the reigns of our lives is difficult for us. And so is the subject of surrender. We have always been taught to "be strong" and "if you go down, go down swinging". A popular phrase from the movie Galaxy Quest starring Tim Allen hits the nail on the head. "Never give up, never surrender". So this idea of surrendering to God takes some getting used to. I think it is an act of faith and trust to put aside or deny yourself and give Him the dominion in your life. What do you think?
