Ezekiel 11:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 “Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone.’
I was meditating on this verse yesterday, and I realized that all of us have been 'sent far away' into the wilderness of PMO addiction, yet even in the most destitute places, we have a sanctuary there. We have a sanctuary in the upheavals of PMO addiction, and that sanctuary is God. Christ said "Blessed are they who mourn, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven". When our hearts mourn penitently over the trials of this issue, among the other issues in life, our mourning is not separate from the kingdom of heaven, it is the kingdom of heaven. For the kingdom of heaven can be nothing other than the sum of all truth, including the truth that lies within us, i.e. the brokenness of our human hearts.
