It is a shame that there are those attempting to offer a cure for something that has no "cure", but I am curious as to why you would be a member of 12-Steppers and not identify yourself as a sex addict?

In my 12 step groups they do say that not everyone who joins is a sex addict—- I guess it’s true online as well.

@need4realchg , Yes! That is most certainly true however, if you are someone who has difficulties abstaining from PMO and/or suffers from clinical-type withdrawal symptoms while doing so, you are fooling no one but yourself.

@need4realchg, I understand there are open groups where we can see people who accompany others, and some peopave someone in their lives who has the addiction. If not those reasons, I don't see the point, but that's me.

I’m a sex addict. And a former porn addict. I am pushing myself onto sobriety. Although I definitely kick and scream here and there.

@HigherPower72 bc I’m an alcoholic. I’ve been sober for 22 years.
