Hello everyone, I'm new to this site/forum. Trying no MPO for 100days (nice round number). A lot of Buddhist Scripture and even the story of the Buddha himself deals with wrestling with these natural urges. However, I think technology has skewed the balance a little (at least in myself). Welcome T.Anderson. According to scripture that transcendental states are meant to be far more pleasurable than anything we experience through the senses. Its part of the reason why some monastics done have to spend any effort to be celibate because the states of meditation they reach are far more attractive than sex (even though they may not settle for that).
