This morning I was able to go to confession for the first time in about 30 days. It was so nice to be able to confess only 2 occasions of falling to PMO since my last confession and the priest even remarked that I seemed to be making good progress. I felt those graces today as I was faced with several temptations to begin fishing, but I remembered that I had just been given the incredible blessing of cleaning my soul, and I wanted to keep it that way. The line from the act of contrition about avoiding the near occasions of sin was super helpful.

tldr: the Sacraments are an incredible help; please don't neglect them!
