Ever since I’ve committed my life to Jesus and actually taking him serious, I’ve found that lust has been so difficult to abstain from. I’m remember back last November when I decided I was going take my porn addiction seriously, before I had Christ, I went almost 40 days easily. And now it’s like reaching 7 days is impossible. The urges now are sometimes so strong I can feel heaviness in my chest. But now I’ve reached 8 days thanks to Jesus, however I have a long ways to go but I’m not going focus on how long I can abstain it just makes it harder.

You can do it. I’m praying for you. The enemy knows that when you recover God has a purpose for you and he wants to keep you from knowing about it.

man dude , i feel you.. i do believe we deal with personal seasons of lust, depression, happiness, even with our relationship with God feels on and off... but i want to urge you to pray. be a prayer warrior , pray with out ceasing, in times of peace and in uncertainty, when you feel your lowest, ask God for strength and resilience !! if you relapse.. oh well , the point is, to keep going again and again no matter what season were in.. ill pray for you bro !!
