What do you understand by the words “He ascended into heaven?”
That Christ, in the sight of His disciples, was taken up from the earth into
heaven, and continues there in our behalf until He shall come again to
judge the living and the dead.

Jesus going to Heaven with his earthly body also.... Although as God he is present everywhere, in his human body, he was on Earth for those 33 years.... When he ascended to Heaven, his earthly body also left Earth... But he is present in the Eucharist as told by himself and understood by the early church
