Help please.
I'm a Christian but right now I have a very strong addiction to pornography and masturbation, every day I do both, I just can't stop it, the urge is too strong and it is worse because of Covid and all of my collage classes are online.
I just miss/wish everything was normal, no covid, because I would be able to keep myself focused on doing any other daily routine stuff but right now I am struggling alot.
I haven't pray because the amount of shame I feel its bad, but very bad, I feel I'm falling to a depression because even words do not come out when I try to pray, I feel awful, I know that God will always be there for me and he cares about me, but just thinking about the things I have done and the amount of times I fail him brakes me. I feel sad each day because all of this, I want to follow him, keep his commandments but I just can't, I fail each time I try.
Like for real if God could grant me 1 wish, it would be to overcome all of this sinfull life style, to overcome PMO.
I just want to listen to you guys, I know many of you have gone through all of this, anything that can help me I thank you all.

Read my journal and the journals of others here. You will learn that you are far from alone in this! We have all struggled mightily against the plague of PMO. Remember that there is no condemnation in Christ and that shame does not come from the Spirit. We are in this fight together. When you're ready for an AP, let me know if I can be of service. Like Tao said, you are far from alone in this. The people who are here are here because we are tired of our own sinful ways. Keep in mind that God is not ashamed of you, and he loves you so much that he let a part of himself (Jesus) die and suffer in your place, for your sin. Would this same love not forgive your sins? Talk to God, even if you don’t feel like it, talk to him every single day. Also, learn to forgive yourself. We love you bro

A really good advice a priest once gave me: He said to me „do you know what the only medicine for this (PM) is?“ I say „no“. He says „when u fall, get back up“. I never forgot these words. I kept getting back up, when I fell and I slowly improved. That was 3 years ago. Since I joined here recently I have the longest streak ever. May God‘s GRACE be your strength.

God wants you to combat the enemy with His holy joy. Of course you're not worthy of being filled with His joy. If He waited until we deserved it none of us would have it. We're all less than perfect. He wants you to be filled with His joy because the joy of the Lord is our strength.

God loves you more than you can possibly imagine. He will never leave you. Allow Him to fill with confidence that you can start again, you can start a million times if necessary. He's not as concerned about where you are in your walk with Him as he is about what direction you are going in, toward Him, or away from Him.
