Study is going well- almost at the end of year 2- yay! Aside from that I've been on a health kick- no chocolate, junk food/fast food or fizzy drinks- plus lots of gym and dog walking! :) What about you my friend?
Congrats on almost completing year 2 - that's awesome! Do you only have one year to go? It's great you are on a health kick - it feels so good to be living a healthy and active lifestyle - and the gym must be so much fun! Have you noticed some positive changes with your health?
I'm doing really well - trying to get out of the house and do lots of things. I've started singing lessons and boxing classes - and I still go to the gym a few times per week. This weekend I'm heading away to a meditation retreat, which should be lots of fun. :-)

It feels more difficult to write journal entries when there is nothing to complain about - hehe - life is going so well at the moment! However I do think I owe a few uplifting and positive journal entries to the community! Watch this space! :-)
Good news is good to hear :) I'd encourage you to write something positive. I know what you mean. But, when days are darker, it's nice to go back and read about the good times that you know you had, and pull yourself through!

Yes, it's important not to blame oneself. Not to put oneself down, and least of all not to shame oneself when a reset happens. If you do that you will only continue going in circles, and that helps no one. So I am glad you are moving in the right direction @Arohamystic :)

That's an interesting thought. I haven't given the question much thought until recently. What made me think about it was a podcast where there were talking about all the good Christians have done in the world, but then the question was asked if a loving God that inspired so many to do good then why does this same God stop evil. I think it was the way question was asked that made me think.
By the way if you're interested the podcast is called Hinge and it has a Christian Pastor and an atheist Philosopher investigate and discuss the Christian faith.
Since it is true that God is the essence of all love in the universe, then there is much perspective in how our freedom to choose includes being able to wrong others. I could never watch something portraying horrible things. Forgiveness is so difficult, but heaven is then clearly deserved!
