I'm a 52 year old male, single, HIV+, professional, intelligent and healthy. I'm originally from South America and have lived in Los Angeles since 1967. I'm fluent in both Spanish and English which is my second language. I have also lived in Sacramento, Dallas, and recently spent two years being bi-coastal between Los Angeles and New York. I've had two very distinct careers. One career in the tech industry and the other currently in entertainment, specifically the performing arts as a marketing consultant.

I have a passion for the theatre, film, cultural arts, salsa dancing/music, and food. I could stand to lose a few pounds. I enjoy great, stimulating conversation. I love, appreciate and have a spiritual connection to nature. I love animals especially dogs. I have a gray schnauzer named Scout. I am close to my family which includes my very active 80 year old mom along with my 2 male siblings and their families.

The beginning of my porn induced E.D. began after I was diagnosed as HIV + in 2005 when I completely began to abstain from engaging in any in-person sexual activity. The problem has intensified in the last 3 years when I began to be more open to physical intimacy and noticed I was not able to get erect or sustain an erection, however, masturbation, especially with porn, posed no problem what so ever.

I joined this NoFAP forum as no one in my inner circle knows the deep struggle I'm having with this porn induced E.D. It is causing me to live a very lonely and disconnected existence devoid of intimacy. Joining today was not an easy process. My ego clearly didn't want to seek out any help or support. I'm here to seek that support and join a community of others dealing with this same issue. I want to connect with an accountability partner and begin a reboot process. PLEASE HELP ME!
