  • Relapsed badly. A combination of stress and prolonged PMO abstinence. Disappointed but I know how to prevent it.

You can do this again. No worries, it’s a part of recovery. You are doing very well and I’m sure you’ll be fine.
The moment you feel "better", "energized, "happier", "more awake" - is when you have to switch everything off then put behind lock and key. That's testosterone (or estrogen, if you're a woman) building up with a libido swing.

Been about a month clear now from P. but relapse is common. Just got to get on with it. Don't set yourself absurd goals like cold turkey PMO but make an effort and don't get caught up in the cycle of feeling good momentarily and giving in whenever there's a slight urge to do so.
I usually only ever post here now when I have something to actively contribute. What I will say is: avoid parasocialising on the internet.

This includes Twitter, Instagram, Discord. Limit the sphere around you. For me, the servers I am in are with my friends (actual close friends) and football-related. We live in an era where despite having 8 billion people alive, we are lonely.

Damn bro you that's some solid advice. I have completely deleted discord from my life and thinking about IG next but memes be too funny
Relapse last night, but not because of P.
I'm not saying that it is okay to relapse if it's is without P. but don't push yourself down. It is a process that will take time and you will see gradual improvements.

Honestly, that mindset is key. Yeah, a relapse isn’t great, but if P wasn’t involved, that’s still progress. The main thing is to not get stuck in a shame spiral. Just gotta learn from it, reset, and keep moving forward. What do you think?

may i ask what do you do to block websites? the way you talk is similar to a black list method wich means you block only specific websites. if that's so, i personally disliked this method because urges kept strong fueled by the change to find a loophole i personally use a white list method were i block everything exept the necessary.

(loophole=a porn website that is not blocked or even worse: sites that allow in browser behavior like remnote, notion, coda, figma, one note, etc...)
Another website loophole. Blocked it on all web browsers and DNS. Won't share in case others try to find it.
I became extremely stressed last night due to being scam, so turned to P. to cope. I regret everything.

I was fully aware, I was just really upset and needed comforted. It's my go-to for when I feel overwhelmed by things outside my control.

Maybe you need to find something to do when you feel overwhelmed. Trust me I know what its like. For me journaling helps a lot. I really recommend it!:))

Bad days happen to everyone. They don't define us. Recovery is a process, not a single achievement.
You don't realize how much it has taken from you until it is too late.

Going through a lot of mental struggle, so I'm going back to PMO as a way to cope like I did during lockdown. I feel that mental brain fog and haziness almost constantly now. I want to just switch off my brain and go to sleep.

I feel this so very much, I have lost so, so much, and finally lost someone who made me realize I have a problem and I need help.

Every time I relapse, I feel like I am inching closer to death. It feels spiritually draining in a way I can't describe, just a constant uphill battle of numbness and self-loathing.

Take it one day at a time, try for one day, then reset, or two days , then reset.

U Just need to regain some semen stored in the testis and you will have a sense of hormonal balsnce.

If u cant quit, then try to reduce

Yeah. I get you. But, it's kinda part of the whole lie of the trap. You're always able to just get back up and live a different life. Numbness doesn't sound fun. But, self-loathing really sounds difficult. I hope you find a better balance within some clean days. You can do this, keep going!

Melancholy is part of clinical depression, where you feel apathetic and know that things will never go back to how they used to be. But at least I can switch off my brain for a bit now that I am back at college.

    3 months without being on a P. website. :'D

I usually don't place any emphasis on days because I think it's a waste of time and isn't a good measurement of recovery, but I do genuinely feel as if my mind is healing more without viewing P. daily. Whenever I feel aroused, it doesn't feel like an unwanted impulse or a chore.

Morning wood feels great, since albeit I do get brain fog and tired when I relapse, being able to have the willpower to resist it gives me that extra testosterone kick to start the day. And if I do relapse, it feels relaxing and I can sleep it off rather then feel a sense of shame or guilt.

So, little steps. Don't beat yourself up. Remember your recovery is P.M.O, so if you're tackling one letter but struggling with the others then keep at it. You'll get there.

It shows you are becoming less dependant and don't need an extra stimulus. Morning wood is normal and healthy. If you are in the beginning stages, this is a positive sign. Just remember to fully keep away from P.

I once heard a long time ago, that P de sensitizes you from regular joyful masturbation. Regular M hasn't been bad for me but a joyful experience. Especially with Yoga and stretching, listening to calming music.

It's shite being Scottish, we're the lowest of the low, the scum of the fucking earth - the most wretched, pathetic, servile trash to have ever been shat into civilization. Some people hate the English but I don't! They're just wankers! We on the other hand are colonized by wankers. It's a shite state of affairs to be in, and I don't think all of the fresh air in the world can solve that.
