    I grew up in the Church of Scotland and left because of how disingenous and watered-down it was. When you speak to people in the Church, they don't actually believe Jesus rose from the dead and died for our sins; they see it as a ritualistic, traditional act. King Charles describes himself as the defender of faith, not even the faith - which he should defend as the head of the Church of England.

    I am mentally disabled, don't take my word as anything deep or meaningful. I'm just trying to rationalize and find meaning in a world where simply existing feels like a divine punishment. What you're describing to me sounds like Christianity's way of stigmatizing sex so that it does become an obssession. In a way I guess that's true, but to blame their addictions on the Church and not predatory companies seems odd.

    And what sort of content were you watching that caused these to appear? I never see explicit content on YouTube when I am looking up how to replace a toilet flush valve or a bathroom exhaust fan or similar. Of course, I clear my cache and history every session and don't log on to YouTube...

    PMO is difficult to overcome. I have installed DNS filters and various extensions to prevent relapse. Even with that, it's still a massive challenge without severely limiting my internet experience. Sometimes, extensions will break or you'll find loopholes. You learn as you go. If there's a will then there is a way.

    YouTube is seriously beginning to annoy me now. It's clear they're not even trying to censor the algorithm anymore. I keep getting AI generated ads with (presumably) mail order brides from Russia and Thailand. I wish there was a SFW alternative, but Rumble and Odysee are equally as bad and have barely a fraction of the userbase.

    King Charles is in Malta so it can't be him. Usually he flies over my house on his way back to Balmoral. Don't mind it throughout the day, usually the RAF do drills with their chinooks and spitfires since there is a military base nearby.
