  If being strict with yourself works well with you, you have to reset. In my opinion and judging from my previous experiences, not resisting M-ing may lead later to PO-ing. However, do whatever helps you stay on track and motivated.

  I had the same issue at 45 days when the guy told me reset. It broke my heart and I was stuck in a whole depressive cycle of relapsing for half a year. My current steak I edged on my 20th day(I think) but I told myself if I do it again I will reset.
  Guess what? Today is my 79th day XD, so don't reset just keep moving forward and learn from your mistakes.
