    Whether you delete the thread or not, to me it's fine either way. I think your wrote valuable stuff, so no need to delete anything. Also, I like to see how other people's opinion develop and change over time. So maybe just reply to yourself in that thread and make all your thoughts explicit? But again, if you don't feel comfortable with that, do as you like.
