im in a mental rut right now. I feel so isolated. I miss my friends, I miss my family. Im tired of socializing but otherwise i get so lonely

On the bright side i have a job, signed up for some exciting things. I met a junior who told me about how she felt alone at this PWI. I suppose it’s easy to get into my head about these things. As long as i keep myself busy i’ll be alright
I will say that the person i confided into about my insecurity issues told me that he liked me which ruined the dynamic. Im questioning whether there was an ulterior motive to these talks. Almost regretting being so vulnerable. Thats why i retreat into this space tbh
