I'm Roman Catholic and I've been trying to quit masturbation and pornography use for a period of roughly 3 years. At first I tried to stop using porn because my dad told me to stop. Then I tried to stop masturbation as well because both are considered sins in the church; I was only moderately successful because it's a difficult undertaking when the rest of culture is saying it's a healthy and normal activity. NoFap has given me renewed confidence that I can permanently quit, and for reasons that everyone can believe.
