Before I joined Nofap, the longest duration that I went without watching porn was one month.
I managed to do that just once.
Apart from that one time, it never went further than 3 weeks or so.
So to my surprise, after joining Nofap, I lasted 67 days.
Hence even though on this day I still don't seem to achieve what I want, I must believe that it is possible.
Instead of believing my inner critic, the one that tells me it is not.
It is not easy to keep doing what is right everyday, because it is difficult for someone used to do the opposite, and when does it end?
On the road of time there is no finish line.
But there are people who do not use porn in their lives.
Are we so dependent on something that we cannot cut ourselves loose of it somewhere along our life road?
Are we going to do what is wrong our whole lives long?
I don't know what it takes.
But I know I must never stop believing and having hope that I can do better.
Everyday there are two ways of doing things.
There is the easy way and there is the difficult way.
The easy way is when we do what pleases us now.
The difficult way is when we do what pleases us for life, but just not right now.
The difficult way is synonym for discomfort.
If we want change, we must want the difficult way.
Desire it, crave it, because we desire and crave the fortune that awaits us after.
We must be like a Viking who craves battle because he will go to Walhalla after.
See life's difficult moments as training opportunities to build our resilience against them.
And we must prepare for it.
