    All relapses are premeditated

Wise words indeed. We all need to take responsibility for our actions. Shifting the blame for our own addiction gets us nowhere

My Life Story - How I began Watching Pornography & How its derailed my life.

If you think that will help you then that's fine, whatever you feel comfortable with is the best way to go. But i would still be wary of over-medicating as that can cause it's own problems. It's also a short term fix to a long term problem. Good luck with your quest

My Life Story - How I began Watching Pornography & How its derailed my life.

Sounds like you've had things really tough but it's a positive that you are now trying to beat this "cancer". Please don't even contemplate chemical castration as that is way too drastic and would only make your life much worse. This is an addiction and that's why we all find it so hard to...

    Older than most of us

Good luck with your quest. It's going to be difficult to break such a long-held habit but it is possible . My advice is try to read as much as you can about porn addiction and get a better understanding of why it's hard to resist. That helps hugely in my experience

42 Days in and what I realize is....

I was lucky because when I was between 15-30 there were no smartphones, which I believe is the biggest contributory factor to porn addiction. In my youth, if I wanted to see porn, I'd have to catch it on TV or buy a magazine so the chance of becoming truly addicted was much lower. I still had a...

Trying to gain back my SOs trust

Well done on getting to day 326. You are an inspiration to me as I'm in exactly the same boat. My wife found out about my addiction about 6 months ago but thinks I've been clean since then. However after an initial run of 1 month, I relapsed and I'm back to my old habits. But today I'm ready to...

    A Legend, A lover, A Loner

Good luck tripletrey. I echo the sentiments of the others here. The biggest positive for you is that you are still very long. Although you undoubtedly have a tragic past and a troubled present, the potential is there for a much happier and longer future. In seeking true, reciprocal love, there...

the most dumbfuck relapse i have ever had

James is right, don't be too hard on yourself. Winning this battle will be one of the toughest tasks of our lives. It's an addiction and like recovering alcoholics or gamblers it will be a lifelong fight. Don't dwell on the reasons for a reboot/relapse, just focus on how good you were feeling...

Broke my previous record about 12 days without even noticing

Congratulations, I just slipped last weekend after a one-month run. Hopefully I can use your example to double that run

    New Addiction: Private Webcam Sessions

I'd second the claim that cam girls are the crack cocaine of porn addiction. Quit now before you get in financial trouble. I really fell for 2-3 cam girls and it nearly cost me my marriage in addition to about £250. You will get emotionally involved if you keep visiting these sites and it makes...
