Hi!

I have been on this rollercoaster of compulsive porn use since the age of 13. This most probably stems from having a bit of a troubled childhood (my theory anyway). I grew up in a broken family. Dad left when I was 9, I was sexually taken advantage of by an older cousin at age 10 and my mother was in and out of recovery centers for her alcoholism throughout most of my teenage years. Not a fun story, but here I am. The past has left wounds, but all we have is right now.

Around the age of 20 is when I realized just how out of control my behavior had become and how deeply ashamed of myself I was of my porn use. I knew I had to change. From that moment forward I knew I had a problem. I admitted it to myself and to a few close friends of mine who were very supportive even after sharing all of the messy details. Here I am 8 years later. I have grown is many ways, but this beast called pornography still plagues me. It is time to put that chapter to rest.

I am here to find new ways to live without porn. Porn really limits my growth as a human being. I want to live and give and love everyday. Life is too short and precious to not do that.
