Gender can be confusing when our families tell us we should feel a particular way, or that we shouldn't feel the way that we do. As genderqueer, my family is always on my case, trying to police my gender expression or demonize me for being binary or "masculine." Hang in there. Life is too short to repress ourselves and be miserable. Do whatever feels right. Good luck with everything! :)
