1 more thing (if it’s not 2 much). when at age 25 after 13 years of smoking, 1 year of having stopped, and 9 years of frequent stop and go....I finally quit smoking I had realized that “stopping” was easy (that could happen every time I finished a cigarette) but not starting up again was the daily challenge. it required living differently...for several years, until it was all behind me. just sayin’…
failed countless times I'm only a day in and it's hard to start from zero again. Can I beat this once and for all?

I don't use my phone for it. its all on my computer tried blockers etc nothing works for me since I always find a way around it. and in this digital age it's hard to be away from a computer

Well set a scheduled time for computer use, get out of the house more, get an AP.

will look for an AP I know i need one. kind of hard not to be away from the computer when all your work revolves around it, but I see where you're coming from and will limit my usage
Yes I failed but this part of the journey. This time is different I'm coming back stronger and with more determination.

I have many hobbies. Photography, cars, cooking , computers, and you can probably say my major as well since I am working on that 24/7 non stop. I may invest time in photography again . I miss it

I asked on here for help and i got some good advice. What I ended up doing was going for a walk when the urge came in and started telling myself that i needed to control this and not the other way around

You're doing great Jazz. Keep up your hard work, and always remember that success is not going a day without urges. Success is getting away from urges. Further down the road, as you're getting close to 90, then you can consider success as not having as strong or frequent of urges.

    Jazz1409
Yes! I do get urges but not as much as i used to. I would believe that i had no escape from pmo, but i have come and seen the light. I have regained hope and motivation and i am not stopping until I am free from it for good
I failed today time to dust myself off and start again

You've got this bro! Every time you relapse, make sure to journal and learn something new from the failure, so you can improve your strategy!

one minute at a time is the way to start. then minutes, hours ,days weeks, months years and so on. its hard to start, but its worth it.
