      It's important to understand that breaking free from impurity is honoring to the Lord. He is glorified in the daily choice we make to turn away from gratifying our flesh. This is not to say that all who are not involved in pornography, and all who abstain from masturbation (self-gratification) and adultery are glorifying God. Obviously, such is not the case—there are many people who aren’t involved in the things with which you and I have struggled but who are living their lives for their own glory. But a Christian's motivation must be to honor the Lord in everything.
