Wasn't sure about the first episode but it seems to get better as it goes along. I like the actor who plays Roger. I think it must be the first time he's acted on screen.

Interesting that Philip Pullman said the TV series should be better because with TV you have more room to be more faithful to the book. But he also said that he wasn't involved in it that much and didn't want to be since it's something separate from the book.

How did that work out for you btw, kropo? Just curious.

It was interesting. I really missed this place and it was hard to tell if that was healthy or not. Part of it was, these forums are a key part of my sobriety, but part of it wasn't, there's an anxious tug I feel about coming here (c.f. porn!)

Very well. Still reading posts here, having therapy, et. but the day-to-day challenges have moved on from porn use to stopping oggling and silencing idle sexual fantasies, though even they are proving easier to master than I'd feared they would. I'm on 807 days without porn and 798 without masturbation. It's made such a positive difference to my life! Thanks for popping by.
