Hi,

I am 32 year old from Cape Town, South Africa.
I see myself as a successful individual in Career, Relationships, Sports and as a father of two amazing daughters.

However, I have been battling Porn Addiction for 17 years now, but many ups and downs along the way and can unfortunately not say that I have overcome this yet. In fact, I find it negatively impacting all parts of my life in some shape or form (although most people would not even realise it, as we become experts in hiding this addiction and the effects thereof).

I also actively live out my spirituality as a Christian, having given my life to Jesus Christ at age 19 and have continued to grow in my relationship with my Heavenly Father every day since then. My Addiction to Porn has been a long time struggle, which I have shared with many (including my Wife, friends and men at church) and of course my relationship with the Lord.

However, I have not been able to rise above this addiction for longer than a few months at most. I don't think I've ever made 90 days (of which you call PMO here). I have tried this many times (probably more than 1000 times) in isolation and on my own, without success.

I stumbled onto NoFap one evening while trying to find something on the Web that is Anti-Porn.

I am starting my PMO reboot today with the community and would love to contribute and be part of the community for life! I have read a lot of what is written here, and I am grateful for this website and community in challenging the modern age Pornography Issues which impact an entire generation.
