        Seriously...avoid temptation like the plague. When it starts to happen get out of there (wherever you are) leave room, leave bed, leave shower, leave house.
        Realize you can control the urge. If you were in a tent PMOing and a bear tore open the tent and reared up, you wouldn't say, I gotta finish this real quick. You would stop. You do have control when you really want it.

        Open the curtains and invite someone to your house/apartment. Distraction is one thing, what about trying to sit with the feelings you are experiencing? Meditate about the whole thing for some time, if you only distract yourself or think that if you distract yourself long enough, my personal opinion is that you will never get free from PMO.
