    Maybe it helps if you look at the bigger picture. Mankind deals with a virus like it never has before. It tries out new things. It must be prepared in case that an agent appears that poses a real existential threat to manking. Not everything that humans say and make sense. But it's all part of the bigger picture. The human species evolves. It is chaotic and ugly sometimes but also beautiful.
