    I struggle A LOT with masturbation. Not completing it, also called MO (masturbation to orgasm), is helpful in maintaining healthy intimacy with my partner, better energy levels and its helped me to achieve nearly 3 1/2 years without porn. :)
    The edging is still a struggle. It needs to improve. Especially as it can be very compulsive for me.

    Edging is a dangerous habit. In short it is masturbating, to the edge of orgasm, but stopping before orgasm. It can also be seen as starting to masturbate, but then stopping yourself before going too far.

    Day 4 without edging. Edging isn't TOO bad, as long as I meet my sex goals, but it's really bad if I get caught up in edging and not in being intimate with my partner. Last night ended a 3 week dry spell which is too long. My goal is 10 days max. Beyond that is a relapse.

    I guess because it feels good. Like porn and masturbation. Edging fills me with feelings of arousal - a delightful feeling compared to what I might not want to feel. And, I’m hooked on the feeling of pent up arousal. Edging gets me there.
