I'm a 19 years old male who has suffered greatly from the merciless porn industry. I got a hold of porn at an early age and never fully understood what it was doing to me. Because of this, most of my childhood consisted of porn abuse. This changed me in ways I couldn't understand at first. Everyone said that porn and masturbation was normal and healthy, but my heart told me otherwise.

I believe there is beauty in life away from the constant and temporary pleasures of a climax. Always chasing our own desires however temporary they may be is, according to me, wrong. We must learn to see the intrinsic beauty in life instead of chasing that climax, every single chance we get.

I don't exactly know when I stopped masturbating. It was sometime in April 2020. This means that entering June this year, will mark my 1 month milestone. I've been on and off trying to quit masturbation and porn. Usually I've only been able to go 1 or 2 weeks without it, before relapsing. Though this time is different. I have my faith and a community to back me up. Stay strong guys!
