I am going to get all Bill Nye and drop some science on you guys. If you have tried to reboot a dozen times and also failed miserably a dozen times, that is great progress. That is actually better than being hopelessly addicted to porn, which is rampant with violence and abuse of men and women and helps to fuel sex trafficking, and doing nothing about it.

However, perhaps you need to take a more gradual approach with this. Just like switching to a very strict diet can throw your body off and is often an unsuccessful way to diet and lose weight (without gaining it back), so is eliminating porn, masturbation and orgasm all at the same time. What people have more success with in dieting is gradually introducing healthier options and reducing the amount of junk food day by day, week by week. So it is with PMO. I have discovered this the hard way after rebooting twice and relapsing both times after 90 days. Now I am just doing no P and will perhaps eliminate MO if I deem it necessary.

Marathon runners will train anywhere from 3 - 5 months before they run a marathon. They start out small and increase their mileage week by week until they can run anywhere up to 50 miles a week! That way when they run the marathon they will not risk an injury. Just like you probably won't be able to train for a marathon in a day, you probably won't be able to quit PMO in a day. It will be helpful to think about this Long-Term.

Although quitting cold turkey is possible, it does not have a high success rate. Focus on eliminating porn first. People in porn clearly do not have high self-esteem, as they are selling themselves at risk of abuse and disease and bodily harm. So too will your self-esteem lower as you spend time watching them mindlessly fumble around for a while until translucent, slimy fluid comes out from your penis. Thanks for listening.

I found this very helpful, Thank you so much for sharing. Ive been struggling with urges for the last couple of days and telling myself i can mo but not use P seemed to lift a weight.
I havent mo and im not planning on it but for some odd reason having it "on the table" lessened the urge for me

  3. In my opinion, porn is artificial and mo is a natural process, if you can become disciplined then you can mo once in a while without needing to turn to porn. I've done that for the last three years and it's worked for me. Maybe it's also down to my age i'm 34 so my mind doesn't work the same way it did when i was a teenager raging with hormones. I also don't mo very often, maybe a handful of times in a month (pun intended) ;)

  4. Both are masturbation. Porn can led to extra biological symptoms + Faster Fanstasies transformations than MO. To me both are tiring. But is sexting considered as P or MO ? like role playing or Images only
