Exactly. I don't have a PMO tracker, and I've been clean for two years.

Not to say the tracker is a bad thing, of course!

 

Are you having trouble this weekend? At 0 hours again? How about closing your PC and going out?

 

Identify the excuses you tell yourself. Know how you rationalize so you can stop doing so!

 

So, take a walk or something and think about why you're at 0 hours again. How can you keep from relapsing next time?

 

I'm about to be banned by mods who think they can boss me around. I'll not be ruled by the likes of them. A real man does not submit to unjustified censorship. So I'm expecting the ban soon. Fine. Better a ban than to play by their kid-glove rules.

I'm a plain-spoken man. Sometimes harsh. But I believe what Hamlet says to his mother when he is chastising her for adultery with her husband's brother: "I must be cruel only to be kind". That's my philosophy--tough love. Maybe I'm just an asshole.

But remember this: I'm clean, and I know what works. Hand-holding doesn't. We're not women (except those of you who are). Men should not be coddled. My success came through the blood, sweat, and tears of not only Jesus on the Cross but also through the blood, sweat, and tears of a woman the world's never heard of.

But she is MY world.

This addiction isn't pretty, and nice words and constant verbal reacharounds on this forum are useless. Man the fuck up, men, and understand that we're in the fight of our lives against an Enemy that wants to eat our souls forever!
