Finals, stress and relapse.

    Due my finals and being alone after the desk with a lot of stress I relapsed too many times. And I feel like getting addicted again.

    My girlfriend says she noticed that I take much longer to come during sex and that she doesn't enjoy it as much as before which is really painful.

    I need some motivation and tips to get back on track. How do you guys stay off PMO when being alone all the time. I basically have to since I need to study.

    Please help me guys and give me your thoughts. I'm unhappy and feel so bad..
    Need some supporting words and advice.

    Being a student, I can understand how it feels during the finals.The stress and everything bottle up inside our body and we feel like relapse is the only way to relieve ourselves of the pressure.But I realized that there are other ways of calming ourselves.Meditation,yoga,excercise,doing something you like( for eg sketching in my case..etc) are some of the things that you can do to control your stress and prevent an imminent relapse.Hope this helps.Best of luck:)

    @TruthSerum17 At least you have identified your trigger, that is stress. I know how hard is to deal with it and how bad you want to feel instantly, but the only way to end this addiction is to endure during difficult times.
    Each time you stay strong when experiencing negative emotions, you are growing and the fight gets easier.

    Being alone all the time is now the Problem. Find a public place to study or with another person. Get the strength to allow another person to put a porn restriction code on your computer. Tell them that no matter what don't tell you until a another couple of weeks. Help me also . its not even porn anymore its pics of others that I would love to Smash. I'm very sexual and feel like a Beast at times. I live alone and don't trust anyone with my heart since my last relationship . Now I satisfy myself but don't want this anymore

    Make your study room a place for another habit-meditation. When you find yourself alone studying in whatever room that may be and begin to have urges, associate being in that room with a place where you can meditate. Step aside from your books and computer. Sit down on the floor, cross your legs, relax your body, and close your eyes while you focus on your breath. Count every breath in and out up to 10, then start again. If your mind wanders off, gently bring the attention back to your breath.
    Most importantly, when you have negative thoughts (i.e. sexual images), let those thoughts flow through and out of your mind as if those thoughts are flowing through a river. Observe your thoughts, don't focus on them or try to alter them, and just focus on your mindful breathing. Do this for 10 minutes every day and have patience with it. Meditation can help rewire your brain through neuroplasticity in creating new pathways associated with the benefits that come with meditation and weaken the negative habits.
    Remember, thoughts about sexual fantasies are just thoughts! We live in a world of constant change, so these thoughts are not permanent. They don't determine what we should do next. Retrain your brain through meditation.
