How to block porn on windows

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by WhyNotStop, Sep 14, 2017.

  1. Hey Faptronauts I've been experimenting with a lot of blockers in the past and as a computer techie I think I've found the best one yet.

It's called Cold Turkey and it has its own built-in porn block list. you can download it for free at https://getcoldturkey.com/

If you need help setting the porn filter please let me know below or by sending me a private message. Thank You!

I have a multi-layer setup haha. I have my wireless router configured to a DNS server that blocks adult sites so all the big sites get blocked on all the devices I connect. On my PC I use an anti-virus program that has parental controls to block adult sites, then I also add sites I find to a list of blocked sites in it. The anti-virus is ESET. On my phone I use DNSchanger pointing to a DNS server that blocks adult websites (and a list of sites I've added to block) in conjunction with Lock Me Out. I use Lock Me Out to white list only the apps I have on my phone, as some apps will get around the DNSchanger app. I have all of these things password protected so I can't get in and change them afterwards, and keep the passwords outside my house.

Hello, do you mind sharing your porn block list? I've just started using Cold Turkey, seems pretty good.

It has a built in list if you go on import -> website categories -> porn.

You can then add others yourself. If you use the "all URLS containing" option and enter keywords like porn, sex, xxx, cams etc than that will block a ton of sites also. Personally though I use the block entire internet option and then added safe sites(like this one) as an exception.
