hey guys I just want to share my story on how I got ED from doing kegels while masturbating (although there is a chance that I just have venous leakage, I'm not sure)

I dont know when it happened but when I was a teenager I of course used to have random boners all the time (especially in class) and also morning wood. I, like most of guys during their teens, jerked off maybe twice or thrice a day. One day I figured out that if I flexed my muscles (you know like when you try to move your dick, so kegels) while jerking off I would get the pleasure effect multiplied by 10. It was very pleasurable to me.

Now I am 24, and I've been jerking off doing this technique on the daily. So what are my problems?

    1. I cant have an erection (even when masturbating) if I dont kegel intensely and jerk off fast at the same time

    2. After 2 or 3 minutes of keggling and jerking off till I reach an erection, if I dont keep doing both at the same time (eg. jerk off but not keggling, or keggling without stimulating my penis) I WILL LOSE MY ERECTION IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS. A graphic description if stop keggling or jerking my penis after achieving a boner: my penis starts pumping (literally like a heart) every two seconds while flowing all the blood back to my body and, of course, with every pump my penis gets lower and lower until it's totally deflated (like I said I can go from raging boner to soft in 10 seconds)

    3. If I jerk off without keggling, I dont feel anything at all, if anything, I just feel pain from the friction (same I would feel if I jerked off my arm)

    4. I havent had morning wood (cant kegel involuntary while sleeping I guess) or have random boners in years.

Yes, I tried to have sex and I cant get it up.

Now for the first time in my life I will try to go on NoFap and hopefully cure this shit. Because I cant have sexual relationships at all.

I dont really have good expectations because I think I severed my penis nerves too badly, but it's worth a try I guess.

    Thanks for reading.

  2. Nofap + reverse kegels is what I've employed to solve the same issue among others. No results yet about six weeks in with a single relapse.

What are reverse kegels? How do you do that?

  4. Reverse kegels are stretches of the pelvic floor muscles, the ones which you contract with regular kegels. I've read (from a nonmedical source, but sadly I couldn't find anything better) that overdoing kegels can tighten those muscles which then causes problems. It's sort of like not being able to run well because of tight quadriceps. The way I do them is just the opposite of a regular kegel i.e. I extend the muscles as if trying to push out piss. If that wasn't clear (kegels, not piss) google's your friend, there's a lot of "tutorials" out there.

There is an examination you can take in a urologist to rule out a Venus leak. It involves having a mix of erection drugs injected directly in your member and then measuring blood flow/restriction with a sound device (like the one used to examine the fetus inside the womb - don't know how it is called in english :D) and it was quite pricey in my case yet it eliminates the possibilities of having a leak as the culprit. A 2nd injection is actually needed to stop the erection, so if there is none after the 1st one then there is a leak problem.

Venous leak is extremely rare, though lots of guys with PIED tend to freak out, and self diagnose themselves with it cuss some of the symptoms line up. It's highly unlikely you've developed it, and at such a young age.

Cut the damn kegels out for good, you've likely over strengthened your pelvic floor, it's tense, and can't relax. Let the muscle entropy for a good long while. The pelvic floor muscles actually need to be relaxed to to produce an erection.

Finally someone who makes some sense. People here praise kegels, not knowing they can cause a tight pelvic floor. This actually happened to me, because of stress for many years. If I were to do kegels now, my pelvic floor would cramp and tighten up for several hours.

They're a good exercise if your pelvic floor is actually weak, thats also fairly rare, would have to be really sedentary, really, really sedentary. If you walk around, and you feel normal doing so it's not weak, no need for it. I had a friend whose son was bed ridden for 3 years, and was unable to walk without a cane. When he finally got better just walking for under 30 minutes was challenging, and he needed to recover like a bodybuilder from a hard workout. Kegels are bullshit for most guys, they may be useful for urinary control later in life, but that may also be linked to the sedentary conditions most old people gravitate towards.
