Is it true that more than 80% of men PMO once a day?

Discussion in 'Off-topic Discussion' started by Deleted Account, Apr 19, 2022.

  1. prob not. prob true for young boys. It seems most people though struggle to get to 1 month. Idk the exact percentages, a lot of ppl are realizing the harm now and trying to limit it.

Ask yourself are your spectacularly different from any other male . All men are inherently similar in the way that we are biologically driven we all have similar needs we are different but we are the same in other words very likely. Do you think you have an above and beyond sex drive like no other man on this planet . We are all varying age groups testosterone level relationship status. But at the end of the day man is driven to spread his seed . Put it this way you have high test as a teen and are horny 24/7 doesn't stop there it continues into adulthood why would you think no other man is experiencing the same as you . So you can bet it's probably true .we are all men we all have the same biological targets . Goals needs . Ask yourself why is there 1 million followers on NoFap Reddit and this forum as well. Because it's a significant amount of men identifying they have an addiction to porn . That's not to say tonnes of men just aren't aware of NoFap. These sorts of groups are usually within a selective age group of viewers . Older men are most likely married so they and have a partner instead of porn . That said men at all ages still bust a nut I mean as much as I'm aiming to do away with porn it's unlikely I will never pmo again why at 50 would I stop finding women attractive . I would say the 80% is inaccurate as most of these studies are. 80% is a guesstimation as it's on actually possible to get the accurate data by actually asking every male on the planet you can't ask 300 people or how many men and think you can calculate the figures for the multiple billion men on the planet. It's very likely it is a high number but accurate figures is just absurd

I think most men who have access to the internet will use it to some extent. But using it and chronically using it are different things. You seem to get some men that never let it go far enough where they develop porn induced brain changes, that cause chronic addiction, mental health problems, porn induced sexual dysfunctions etc. Where as others seem to need to chronically PMO, chronically edge and binge, and when this goes on for a long enough, they end up developing porn induced brain changes, chronic addiction, mental health problems, porn induced sexual dysfunctions, and if these porn induced brain changes are severe, they're very difficult to reverse.

But it's a strange thing. Some men don't feel the need to edge and binge on PMO, and for the most part it's always just been a now and again thing, for fairly short periods of time. Where as others basically couldn't help but edge and binge on PMO, for long periods of time, and this always seems to be how they have PMOed.

I'm not entirely sure why some men have never or rarely ever felt the need to edge and binge, and others basically felt an extreme need to edge and binge.

I basically started chronically edging and binging on PMO right away, as soon as I got my first ever high speed laptop. So I personally don't think it's as simple as I developed an addiction to it from constant use. As I was automatically edging and binging on PMO right away. But as I said, a lot of other men don't seem to feel the need to do that.

A lot of studies making wild claims about masturbation and porn use are carried out by students. Students are typically unmarried, live in dorm rooms with sturdy locks on the door, have access to high speed internet access, and dont have nearly as much sex as we think they do (and/or they pretend to be having). You bet they use a lot of porn.

Married men? Older men? With young children in the house? Im sure a huge number use porn, but they are unlikely to be daily users. The sex drive does fade as you get older, too.

I doubt there are too many people left who have never viewed porn, at least not in our culture. But most people arent using it daily.

  10. I kind of doubt that such number is legitimate, its very likely less

But if that percentage is correct, then i would be among those 20%

If the males weren't super horny, it will mean they will have less incentive to make kids and raise a family, which will consume most of the money this males will have. it will mean eventually the destruction of the human species.

so yes, most males attracted to porn.

Do you think regular porn use makes men less horny? I'm not sure that is my experience. It makes us less attractive in other ways though, but there are less damaging ways to make women not want to have sex with us.

The risk of having unwanted children aside (easily avoided with a little knowledge and a little care), porn is a poor substitute for the real thing.

in the short term ,I think Porn is a way men used to trick the system: nature provided them with only limited amount of naked bodies, but Porn provide infinite amount.

in the long term, the males are going to discover that they have been tricked themselves: endless amount of porn lead to empty life and the lose of pleasure. so nature eventually wins. again.

Perhaps some guys don’t take the pmo thing so far because they basically feel good about themselves and so don’t need to constantly try and find ways to feel better?

Except it doesn't. Unless you are satisfied with looking and not touching. Unless you are satisfied with relationships that are entirely in one direction.

Porn titilates but it never really satisfies. Hence excess, escalation to "worse" kinds of porn and webcams, onlyfans, strip clubs and prostitutes etc.

The brain has decided that woman looks have more value than her touch.

What people say when someone marry an ugly woman ? "Oh, just turn off the lights, than you can imagine she is beautiful"

So actually in nature the look is valued more than touch. otherwise the porn werent as successful as it is now...

I am not saying that porn is good - I just say that porn is unprecedented: the males (of all the animal kingdom) have never figured out a way to replicate woman nudity, this is why they fought so fiercely over the nudity of real woman.
However, today human males have found at the first time at history a way to replicate nudity for a very small cost.
