So I have been quite successful this time, no edging and have been going strong. But, I have been feeling sick for 5 weeks now. Every second of existence feels like the few minutes after a relapse. I don't even remember doing things, I feel like a zombie. Barely any happiness, sadness or any other emotion. I don't even have the energy to cry if I wanted to. I thought it was vitamin D at first but my levels came out to 58 from 8 which surprised me even more. I don't know what is up with me.

I am not sure if an FL can go on for this long. I HAVEN'T HAD A BONER IN THOSE 5 WEEKS. I have 0 urges to do anything, even sexual urges are non-existent. Has anyone any advice? Is my energy leaking somewhere or something. My parents and the doctor say that it is due to lack of sleep but I usually get about 8 hours of sleep (22:00 to 5:50.) Please help me, this is affecting my everyday functioning. I'm supposed to be experiencing the benefits of NoFap yet here I am feeling dead.

Firstly, congratulations on your streak. You're doing a great job. keep it up.

I been on a flatline where I had no sexual urges since I started nofap 42 days ago so I know how you feel. My advice to you is to keep patient and continue your streak for as long as you live. We will recover eventually and will get better, it might just take some time.

As for your tiredness, try sleeping for more than 8 hours if possible. 8 hours sleep is the average time that a person needs to sleep. This mean that some may need more and some less. You may need more, even upto 10 hours sleep.
Also exercise and eating healthily will go a long way in helping with tiredness.

You might want to add some more options to your poll as some people may have experienced some of your thread but not all.

It's called post acute withdrawal and it's very common. I've been through everything that you're describing and then some.

"Flatline"= PAWS. Just search it on this forum, you will see that you are far from alone.

Things may be shittier for a while longer but everything that you're experiencing is temporary. You gotta just keep pushing through. Trust me I know how hard and frustrating it is.

Hey I am experiencing something similar previously. Sounds like a flatline. However mine lasted 7-10 days at a time. They eventually receded when one day after waking up I felt I had energy.

I am experiencing a low energy period right now lasting about the length of my streak, but do have urges.

Thank you guys. Man, I didn't even know what was wrong, I've been here for 2 years and I've heard about withdrawal but I never expected it to be this intense.

"Every second of existence feels like the few minutes after a relapse" what you described perfectly sums up what the flatline is, it's like a post relapse state, with the difference that this state can extend for months in some cases (unfortunately mine). It's just your brain/body/energy recalibrating itself to the natural way it's supposed to work, hence why you feel shitty all the time, you spent many years abusing yourself by releasing huge amounts of dopamine artificially, so your baseline of pleasure went up, when you've cut off PMO, your brain had to return to the normal threshold of stimuli, the returning process causes all of this, it's the exact opposite of high pleasure; high pain, high numbness
