NoFap and Recovery Time

So before I seriously began NoFap I was only MO’ng at most once a day. The reason was that my recovery (or refractory time as it’s also known) after O was 24 hours plus. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get it up after MOing once. My question is though, will a year+ of NoFap reboot affect my recovery time by making it shorter? I am asking because I’m getting married next year and my only option right now is to come clean to my fiancé about my past habits so she doesn’t have any unreal expectations from me
