I am doing this 3 week self-improvement challenge starting from now. The goal for me is simple. No PMO for at least three weeks. I have been free from P for a long time, but the M is still a problem, although it has definitely decreased considerable since I started NOFAP around 2 years ago. I havent been active on NOFAP for a while now, but since I noticed that when I was active here I had much longer streaks compared to now. Therefore I wanted to start again to get a better grip of this problem.
Secondly, I want to just improve more on a personal level generally. Most importantly my studies, my prayer/meditation, my exersize and my diet. In short my goals for the 3 weeks are:
    - NO PMO
    - Clean diet (according to a diet plan Ive got) (Ill be traveling this weekend, so this Ill start from monday). I need to lose at least 5 kilos (did this before on this diet)
    - exersize 5 times a week (havent been exersizing for a while)
    - prayer/meditation 2-3 hours per day (at this Im already quite advanced, so I set the bar high. Im at 1 hour per day right now)
    - starting my studies at 8am sharp daily and study for at least 7-8 hours including university lessons.

I will update on my progress at least once a week.

Anyone who wants to join this chalenge can join. Your goals can be your own, but it has to be for at least 3 weeks. Thats the only condition. People are also welcome to share their experiences and success stories (with regards to self-improvement) here on my thread. It will work as a motivation.

    Nice to meet you Friends!

I am in a similar situation. I have been Some time without porn, but I still have problems with masturbation. Other times, i have tried to avoid masturbation, and my record was 12 days.

I have noticed that when I am not masturbating for Some days, my energy levesl, motivation, social habilities... Get better.

For this reason I am in the same wave as you: avoid PMO, and improve in other aspects of my life, such as eating healty, doing exercise and improve my low self-confidence.

This year I have finsihed my degree in engineering and now It is the moment of looking for a job. I think i need all of this improvement commented above in order to get a job.

Thank you and very good luck man.

    I'm in.

I like what you're going for, most things you put on your goals are also on my list of goals, plus I only recently started out so we're syncronized. If I may though, you might not want to diet.

What I mean is, if you are trying to lose weight and get fit through exercise, dieting won't make it last because if you're on a diet you'll eventually be off a diet. Also usually diet is associated with deprivation which is hard to maintain long-term. So my only suggestion is that rather than thinking "I'm dieting" you start thinking "I've decided to eat better" focusing more on what you are getting out of this effort than what you are renouncing. Just my two cents, take it or leave it

    Great decision!

If you want to be even more effective, break down each of your goals into daily plans, ex: I'll pray/meditate x minutes in the morning, I will eat bla bla, I will do these specific exercises.

I recommend you (if you don't have one already) to have a vision board in your bedroom. Very helpful!

I Relapsed today. Sorry for setting a bad standard guys. Im starting again now.
Great to see all of the support and interest. It really motivates to see other people joining too. My only advice to all is that dont give up. At least do a 3 week clean streak.
Good luck to everyone. Please also update here on this thread once a week. and I urge everyone to give as much support as possible to those who update.
For me this week was very hectic. so I didnt follow the plan very well. But Im fully bent upon doing that from now.

It is good because you know that having difficult time in your life didn't help you to stay strong for your goals.

So now you can be even more focus. Even if life is difficult, you stay focus on your goal, and this will get you more motivated ''I am following my plan, I am staying strong, so life will be better''

    Quick update.
I have stayed totally clean from PMO for a week, stayed on a healthy diet for 5 days, and been dicsiplined at uni. Now I just need to incorporate exersize.
    Good luck to all.

    Hey guys,
Since my post yesterday was a bit short, I am going to write a few more words today.
My mood is much better as a result of having had more structure in my life for the past week. Im not the very undisciplined guy, but like most people I tend to slack in some areas. One main area was university studies. Im the type of guy who does his assigments and takes his exams and passes with anything between basic to a little above mediocre marks. but I felt that I wasnt living up to my potential, so I have decided to make a change. The previous week I would start my studies at 8am and work til 3-6pm. The productivity gives a sense of contentment and keeps the mind occupied with something constructive. Therefore there is a lesser chance of falling into PMO. Anyway, this was a main feet this week, which Im very happy about.

I have promised myself to start exersizing again today after many months of inactivity.

Yesterday and today I had some craving for MO, but I resisted it. It was actually more my mind trying to fight the new habits and telling me to give up and get angry about all the difficult stuff in my life. It wasnt just the PMO. It was more the mind wanting to quit everything by arguing that its all too hard. I had this feeling this morning too. But I resisted. I listened to some motivational speeches and quickly got out of my home to go to the university library.

Prayer and meditation has actually also been good the past week. Around half of the days I lived up to the mark (the goal was 2 hours a day), and this gave me a great sense mental and spiritual satisfaction. But some days there was too much work at uni to use that much time for prayer/meditation. But even at those days I did use some time on prayer.

I would love to hear from some of you with regards to your progress/experiences. How is it going?

Dont let this setback prevent you from trying again. You need to quickly get back on track and try harder this time. Falling and getting back up is part of the jouney.
    You can do this.

    Day 9:
Since I finished my first week I feel like my mind has started to hinder me from my progress. I have also previously noticed it does this after around one week of no PMO. It starts to convince me that I need to just give up. Similarly it tries to convince me that I need to be frustrated or depressed over certain things in my life which are not solved or working very well. I feel its just reacting to the major change thats happening, but sometimes its still kind of hard to fight these thoughts. Im writing this to prepare oneone reading this for the fact that your mind WILL try to sabotage your progress. Be prepared! As for me Im still fighting these thoughts for the past 2 days. I wouldnt mind some support here too.

Brother, you should be looking at the progress in the long term, not the short term. I don't mean to discourage you here, but trying to achieve that much in 3 weeks probably isn't going to work. Focus on gradually building a strong foundation of habits and as you accumalate more habits you will become increasingly productive. You will have much more success if you focus on one goal at a time for two weeks to a month, then once you have that down start on another goal.

Thank you for that advice. Maybe that was the advice I needed at this moment in time. I was being too hard on myself, and maybe because of that I was getting the the houghts to give up.
In fact Ill focus only on improvig 2 things for the next 2 weeks: Prayer/meditation and studies. Then if I feel the capacity, Il add exersize along the way too. Again thanks for that great advice.
