    Hi,

During the last week and a half i've been dealing with some severe anxiety. I think the anxiety is triggered atleast for me of fear of going back to PMO. I'm terrified of it, and my body/mind know this and try to use this to it's advantage i feel.

On two occasions it's been triggered by some external stimuli that reminds me of P, but the last one my mind just makes up on its own.

The anxiety get somatic when i get close to panicattack since i feel a weird feeling in my penis/groin. It's like my body is trying to force me to go back, like "Do it, touch it!"

I feel alomst like im lossing it och going mad, it's not pleasent. I was feeling good and started to be more social, but around day 75 this started. I've never been this far on this journey so i dont know what to expect really.

Do any of you guys relate? And do you have any tips to make it trough?

    Take care

Any particular things that help you to calm the anxiety? If not, I would personally suggest Wim Hof breathing, cold showers, meditation, or taking a walk outside.

Once you start getting rid of an addiction that has been masking a lot of pain and problems; all the other issues that have been hiding under the rug start to come out. Stay on your course and work on your life. You are doing the best thing you can to heal your life.

Another member here talkes about this also so there might be something in that. My anxiety i think is a lot of fear. Im on the brink that i cant handle a failure, i need to control my toughts more and keep the destruktive once out. Easier said than done though.

Thank you for the kind words

There are some tutorials on YouTube but it's basically a cycle of deep breathing and breath holding. My record is 3 minutes. It helps to calm any anxiety I have and makes me feel energized and focused.

I know this feeling. Everytime when I reached a little goal I would feel that something was me back to PMO and I just failed and failed again. It is really hard. Then I started to think that maybe it was because of myself. I mean I started to think that my problem is not just be addicted to PMO. There are other problems like being too lazy and playing my iphone for a long time.

Coincidentally, recently I have found an article also support this. It said that abstaining PMO needs a whole system instead of just focusing on abstaining one bad habit. It suggest me to "improve myself", for example, do exercise everyday, keep learning and so on and when you do this your "positive power" will increase and help you beat PMO just like your bad habits help PMO back to your life.

So I think you should try to make your life fulfilling like find a new hobby, make some friends, do exercise......maybe at home. I think that you will feel less anxiety when you are busy with these things which will benefit yourself.
