  4. Not going so well. At least no alcohol is a 100%
I have a family visit upcoming. I don't feel ready to control sugar, so I'll just take it as it comes.
It could be a chance to come out of the daily grind though and start fresh from there.

A little too much sugar yesterday but only a little too much.

  7. Today was the first sugar-free day since some time. But it wasn't a day without temptation.
I have to deal with a lot of unhealthy and stupid thoughts. I want to hack that mind of mine.

Good job! Regarding thoughts: I think I've seen some research that found that people are better at controlling their responses to their thoughts than the thoughts themselves. That kind of makes sense to me, based on my own experience.

  9. I agree. Taking thoughts less seriously is a good idea.
    Practices from Buddhist Teachings:

    1. Not letting an unhealthful* thought arise that hasn't arisen yet
    2. Not continue an unhealthful thought that has already arisen
    3. Letting an healthful* thought arise that hasn't arisen yet
    4. Continue an healthful thought that has already arisen

    * or beneficial / unbeneficial

    1 and 3 are especially difficult :D
    Long way to go ...

By the way, thank you for being there, @Philosophical_Dad

Thank you, icebreaker. It's great to have a little discussion on here. That kind of engagement increases my motivation to meet my goals.

I was sick yesterday, so won't count it. It prevented me from entering results for Wednesday, so I'll just leave those off too.

  14. Tomorrow I want to avoid all added sugars.
Then from Monday I plan to eat just a little bit of healthy, light food in the morning and start fasting from there.
I'll eat nothing until Friday and I'll start to eat again slow, light and little on Friday.

I wanted to fast for a long time and now is a good time.
Let's see how it goes. Reports daily.

  20. One coffee and a healthy breakfast this morning.

In the past weeks I had some alcohol in different situations with friends and family. In at least one situation it was way too much. So now I have a plan for exercising and I want to have a fitting diet. That means absolutely no alcohol (again), the best I can do with sugar and of course a lot of healthy foods.
    :)
