I NEED HELP PLEASE

Discussion in 'New to NoFap' started by Deleted Account, Aug 28, 2019.

  1. Hello I am 17 year old teen with masturbation problems. The first time I came in contact with masturabating was when I was 16 I just sat there watching porn and suddenly it happend, I felt really bad and guilt.

I really want to quit cause masturabation is causing problems in my life like bad memory, sleepy and tiredness, sad,... I play soccer and I always masturbate before training/matches and it makes me really tired during them.

When I get an urge I can't control myself anymore and I don't know what I am doing at that moment. I try to resist the urge but I always end up masturbating. I've read many things about exercising, meditation,... to get rid of the urge. I've tried it all but it just doesn't work.

My highest streak was 26 Days. Those were the best day of my journey, I felt really happy and everything was going good until I relapsed and now I can't stop. I would really appreciate some tips how I can stop this addiction, I want to QUIT FOREVER!

  3. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal, we could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

My strategy is a little bit different. Instead of focusing on the fight against the urges I focus on what I really want: true happiness. When I am attracted to inner peace and happiness I am not dis attracted by something else.

26 days is really great. Congratulations! Remember the wonderful feeling you had in those days. You can have this happiness again and again. It’s your choice.

You made the habit and you can break the habit.
    The community will support you.
The NO PMO journey is not easy but worth the effort.

Maybe you want to make some commitment - not to the community but to yourself.
